What is a Misting System

How Does a Misting System Work
The method behind misting is to create a "curtain" of mist around the perimeter of a patio cover or sitting area.
As the mist flash-evaporates it will draw hot air out of the area creating a cool area. At the same time the curtain
acts as a barrier to keep hot air from intruding on the cool area.

DB Mist Systems carries a very large selection of patio misting systems. If you have a small patio or a large one
a good option would be one of their patio kits. The Arctic Mist patio kit is a low pressure kit that can become
a medium pressure system with the addition of a medium pressure pump. The Arctic Mist kit has optional mist and
supply line extensions if needed. The Misty Mate patio kit is a low pressure system and a medium pressure pump
cannot be added. Up to two Misty Mate patio kits can be linked together.
